** Important Update**
Big Red Farm Market and Legacy Bar to remain closed until further notice
On Monday 12/8, there was an equipment failure on the DTE power supply to our farm. This caused an under and over voltage surge to our Cider Mill, Farm Market, Legacy Bar and Tractor Barns. A significant amount of our large and small equipment was fried. A small fire was even found starting in one of our furnaces from the power surge. This was all completely out of our control. Fortunately, I entered the barn as this was actively happening. We cannot thank the Washington Township Fire Department enough for coming out as quickly as they did to make sure the situation was safe. We are truly blessed with outstanding first responders in this township!
With all of that being said, the Legacy Bar and Big Red Farm Market will remain closed until further notice as we continue investigating and repairing the damage. We should know more in the coming days when we are able to reopen. We appreciate the community support and understanding as work through all of this!
Fortunately, our Event Center, Crimson Hills, was unaffected as its power source comes from a separate pole. Business in Crimson Hills will continue as scheduled.
